EditorBuzz publishes work from practitioners โ people who actually do the thing they are writing about. If you are a developer, founder, clinician, stylist, interior designer, competitive gamer, or industry insider with something genuinely useful to say, we want to hear from you.
What We Want
We look for specific, experience-backed pieces rather than generic overviews. By category:
- Technology: hands-on guides, honest tool comparisons, and explainers that make complex tech decisions simple.
- Business: lessons from real operators โ what worked, what failed, and the numbers behind both.
- Health: evidence-aware wellness writing; credentials or strong sourcing required.
- Fashion: practical style advice for real budgets and real bodies, not just trend lists.
- Home Decor: projects you have actually completed, with process, costs, and results.
- Gaming: deep knowledge pieces โ strategy, hardware, and industry insight beyond press-release rewrites.
- Entertainment: smart, original takes on streaming, film, and TV that go beyond recaps.
How to Pitch
Email hello@editorbuzz.com with the subject line Pitch. Keep it short โ three paragraphs beat three pages:
- The idea: your working headline and the specific question the piece answers.
- Why you: your first-hand experience or credentials on this topic, with a link or two.
- The shape: rough outline, estimated word count (most pieces run 1,500–2,500 words), and anything unique you can include โ data, photos, examples.
What We Pay Attention To
Pitches stand out when they are specific, honest about trade-offs, and clearly written by someone with skin in the game. We check that ideas have not been covered to death elsewhere, that claims can be sourced, and that the writer can meet the standards in our Editorial Policy โ including disclosure of any conflicts of interest. Thinly disguised product promotion, SEO-bait, and unreviewed AI output are automatic passes; if you want to promote a product, our Advertise page is the honest route.
What Happens Next
We aim to respond to every serious pitch within 2 business days; if you have not heard back within a week, one polite follow-up is welcome. Accepted pieces are edited collaboratively, fact-checked, and published under our standards โ you will always see the final version before it goes live.
